DESIGN V | US Coast Guard Auxiliary Station 

This design was about create a US coast guard auxiliary station in the Miami River. For this project we had to do a whole research about the sea level raise and how it is going to affect Miami through the years. Based on that we created a new city where taking care of the environment was the most important thing. Where include the community was very important so they can understand the huge problem we have right know with the global warning. One of the solutions was also to plant mangrove, a plant that protect the shorelines from hurricanes, erosion winds, floods; they maintain the water clean. 

• I learned to integrate the conditions of the city with the building.

• How to develop need of the community-based and educational service in order to create a building entirely accessible.

• Created a structural plan that will support the structure.
